Duxbury Trading Post, LLC (“we,” “us”) is a sports card, trading card, and collectible memorabilia shop based in Duxbury, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit duxburytradingpost.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Information You Give Us

We only receive what you choose to send:

• Contact form — your name, email address, and message. This is delivered to our inbox through a form service called Formspree.
• Email and phone — if you email or call us directly, including sending photos of cards you want to sell, we receive whatever you include.

We use this information only to reply to you and to do business with you. We do not sell it, rent it, or send marketing emails to people who simply contacted us.

Information Collected Automatically

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — we use a Meta advertising pixel that records pages you view on this site and sends that activity to Meta. Meta may connect it to your Facebook or Instagram account and use it to measure and target advertising. See “Your Choices” below to opt out.
• Hosting logs — our host, Cloudflare, records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability.
• Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

Purchases

We do not process payments on this website. When you click to buy an item, you are taken to our store hosted by Shopify, or to our eBay listings. Those companies collect and handle your order, shipping, and payment details under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your full credit card number.

Cookies and Tracking

The Meta pixel described above uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize returning visitors. Our own site does not set advertising cookies beyond that. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and ad blockers and browser privacy features (such as Brave Shields or Safari’s tracking prevention) will block the Meta pixel entirely. The site works normally either way.

Your Choices

• Manage what Meta collects through your Off-Facebook Activity settings.
• Block cookies and trackers through your browser settings or an ad blocker.
• Ask us to delete any message or information you have sent us — just email info@duxburytradingpost.com and we will remove it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we will honor those requests.

Children’s Privacy

We love that collecting is a hobby for kids as well as adults, and young collectors are welcome in our shop and on this site. However, this website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit the contact form or send us your email address — ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us at info@duxburytradingpost.com and we will delete it promptly.

Data Retention and Security

We keep contact messages and order records only as long as needed to serve you and to meet business and tax obligations. This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we collect or use information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
